Day book of an unidentified merchant(s?) : manuscript, 1758-1795.

Day book kept by an unidentified merchant(s?) of Elizabeth Town in East New Jersey, containing personal names, lists of goods, prices, etc., dated ca. 1758-1795. Some of the names included are James Bennet, Stephen Crane (and other members of the Crane family), Stephen Salmon, Samuel Smith, and Samuel Morris. Merchandise sold includes cows, cloth, shoes, grain, beef, veal, pork, lamb, vegetables, rum, and cash loaned.
